Seriously, fk plantera. The following is my setup

Got Turtle Helmet, Monk Shirt, Turtle Leggings, Obsidian Shield, Fire Gaunlet, both of them Warding. Stinger Necklace, Wings. Menacing on both of these. Terraspark Boots for added mobility.

without buffs and potions, my health is at 500, armor at 70. i'm on classic mode. my first ever playthrough.

Using Legendary True Night's Edge, Brand of Inferno, Godly Sergent's Shield. All the potions I can think of and can craft. Heart lamps, firecamps spread all over the arena.

OH the ARENA. I excavated approximately 190*190 blocks in the underground jungle, pre-hard mode. placed 4 rows of platforms. made a small bedroom to set spawn.

Now comes the best part, 2 bulbs were generated near the arena, got my ass beaten by her. Okay, skill issue, no problem. Grinded out the mech bosses a couple of times, to prepare more. Basically git gud.

after some time, one more bulb generated a bit far from the arena. okay, nothing i can't fly that distance, right? nope, introducing cobwebs and stinger wasps and slimes and archers and what not. got cock arena blocked by them and ultimately killed by plantera.

At this point, slowly losing my patience. The next closest bulb is literally near the hell, far far side from the arena. frustrated, went there to spawn and teleport to arena (my spawn) using shellphone. and what happens? her health drops down slightly from taking fire damage from my imp summons, and suddenly, gone. vanishes into thin air. despawned. She's spawning so far away from my arena that she's not travelling that FAR. BUT THE FUNNY THING IS, WHEN I ACCIDENTALLY BURST MY FIRST BULB RIGHT AFTER DEFEATING THE TWINS, (last mech, i was struggling with them) AND SPAWNED HER, I PANICKED AND TELEPORTED TO MY MECH BOSS ARENA. SHE FKING FOLLOWED ME THERE, CROSSED 3 DIFFERENT BIOMES (DESERT, FOREST, ICE/HOLLOW) AND BIT THE SHIT OUT OF ME.

WHY DO I HAVE TO BURST THOSE BULBS TO SPAWN HER?? WHY IS THERE NO SPAWNING ITEM FOR HER? WHY TF SHE REFUSES TO FOLLOW MY TELEPORT TO THE ARENA BUT HAS THE DESIRE TO FKING FOLLOW ME HALF MAP ABOVE GROUND? WTF?

I'M DONE. FK YOU PLANTERA. YOU CAN KEEP THE JUNGLE.

if i find my sanity later, i will excavate everything down there. there will be no more jungle. just void.

ps: i'm just venting/ranting. i will exclusively play melee first. i have a ranger build, (hallowed helmet, graves, chloro chest paired with megashark) that i will only use after i beat the bosses one time. yes i also use summons and sentries while also exclusively playing melee class. am i arrogant? yes. am i frustrated? yes. is my laptop screen punched? not yet
