Can someone give me a very realistic idea of what it's like to do further maths?? (Like do u guys have the same maths and fm class, is it really hard, etc)

I understand that you can't take student loan unless you're a citizen but do all universities offer home studen5 fee once you've lived in the uk for atleasr 3 years??

I'm planning to do this combo in September but I've never seen year 13 students who did these subjects talk about their experience, maybe you guys are just busy all the time but I had a few questions!!

1. Since you guys do fm, is normal a level maths really easy for u? Like do u guys not revise for it and do u guys find ut really easy?

2. Is fm like really hard? Is it worth it tho because unis will prefer u?

3. If ur school made u take a 4th Subject for just year 12 what Subject did u guys take??

I immigrated to the UK in 2025 and I just got done with my gcses. I'm gonna do my alevels in the next 2 years and after that I thought I would go to uni because I thought u can take student loans after being in the uk for 3 years. I didn't research all this stuff because like I wasn't even thinking about uni stuff. But today u found out if you're not a citizen you can't take student loans and I'll gave to take atleast 2 gap years. That's genuinely gonna waste so much of my time and the government is also planning to make the time you have to stay in the uk before becoming a citizen 10 years. If that happens I'm never gonna be able to go to uni because they'll accept me as an international student and it's gonna be too much money:((
