This was a concrete parking space when we moved in
Had them rip up the concrete and set to work creating a kind of cozy garden spot after we moved in (almost a decade ago now). Got some pushback from people questioning why we'd reduce the value of our home by eliminating a parking spot, which was depressing to hear. Kind of feel like we've got it about the way we want it now. Spring is my favorite month.
