Location Recommendations: 2 Week Stay
Firstly— thank you to all replies in advance. I live in a vacation/resort town so it isn’t lost on me that I’m asking for local’s tips and recommendations. I’ll return the favor if you’re ever headed west to ski in Utah. 😊
Two of us will be staying on the island for 2 weeks (end of August, into September). A friend from Boston will join for a few days one of the weeks. My question is does it make sense to stay in two or more different areas given the length of the trip? Stay in town one week and then elsewhere the second?
Here’s a quick rundown of us:
- No car. Biking and walking is great.
- Would love to be on the water? Close to the water? See the water? From at least one of the areas in which we stay.
- Good food and real humans > cool guy parties
The trip is somewhat of a celebration of triumph and healing from illness and loss. Your thoughts/recommendations are very appreciated…. More than you’ll ever know. ❤️
