Can I adjust the rear shock on my E26 3.0 Pro with this inflator?

Can I adjust the rear shock on my E26 3.0 Pro with this inflator?

I'm really enjoying the suspension on the ENGWE E26 3.0 Pro. On rough roads and mountain trails it feels very comfortable, especially compared with some other e-bikes I've ridden.

But I know the rear shock can be adjusted with air, and I'd like to experiment a little with the pressure to find the best setting for my weight and the kind of riding I do.

I already have this small digital inflator that I normally use for tires. It lets me select PSI and set the pressure quite precisely.

Can I safely use this to adjust the rear shock, or do I need a dedicated shock pump?

And if I can use it, what's the correct way to do it? Should I check the current pressure first, then add/remove air little by little and measure the sag?

I don't want to just start pumping air into it without knowing what I'm doing.

Any E26 3.0 Pro owners who have already adjusted the rear suspension? What pressure/settings are you using?

100 Nm in a mid-drive… now I understand the “SUV” idea

I'm really enjoying the E26 3.0 lately. The 100 Nm mid-drive motor has a lot of torque, and you really notice it when the road starts going uphill.

What I like most is how versatile it feels. I can ride on the road with these big tires without that annoying tire noise I noticed on the previous model, cruise comfortably through a couple of towns… and then just leave the asphalt and head straight into the mountain trails.

That's exactly what I did this time. I circled two towns away by road and then started climbing through the trails until I reached a small hermitage right at the top of the mountain.

And the bike just kept climbing.

Now I understand why they call it an electric SUV. Big bike, big wheels, mid-drive motor and enough torque to go pretty much wherever I feel like going.

The only thing I still miss sometimes is a throttle. I know why we don't get one here because of the regulations, but to be fair… this motor is so smooth and has so much torque that it really doesn't need one.

Anyone else riding at 100 Nm mid-drive? Do you also find it difficult to go back to a hub motor afterwards?

30 km river ride with the E26 in 39°C heat

ook the E26 out today for a 30 km ride along the river, and honestly, this bike feels really comfortable for me.

I’m 1.88 m tall, so having a bigger bike with large wheels makes a big difference. It feels stable, spacious and much more natural to ride than smaller e-bikes.

The only thing I noticed is that the suspension feels a bit stiff. Even on small bumps, it can feel quite rough. I imagine it can be adjusted somehow, but I'm not really sure how to set it up properly.

Apart from that, the ride was great… until the heat won. It was around 39°C, so at some point I just had to stop and jump into the river.

Really enjoying the M20 in the mountains, but I’d like a bit more seat height

I’ve been riding the M20 a lot in the mountains lately and honestly, I’m having a great time with it.

It looks great, it has plenty of power for climbs, and the battery range is one of the things I like most about it. For dirt roads, trails and just getting lost for a while, it’s a really fun bike.

The only thing is that I’m quite tall, 1.88 m, and sometimes I feel like the seat could be a little higher for a more comfortable riding position.

Does anyone know if there’s any way to adjust the rear suspension to gain a bit of extra seat height?

I’m not looking to do anything crazy, just wondering if the shock can be adjusted or if there’s a safe way to improve the riding position for taller riders.

30km Mountain Ride with the EP-2 3.0 Boost

Today I went for a 30km ride with the EP-2 3.0 Boost and, honestly, the battery barely felt it. It wasn't exactly an easy ride: I covered mountain trails, rocky sections, and some considerable climbs. I used the Boost button quite a bit on the hills and it performed wonderfully.

One word of advice, though: be careful if you're going fast uphill and press the Boost without thinking. At one point, the front wheel lifted for a second. Nothing serious happened, quite the opposite, it was fun! But it caught me off guard. 😄

Even so, it was a very enjoyable ride. The Boost button makes the climbs much more pleasant and, so far, the range seems excellent.

I'd like to change the handlebars for a BMX-style one. Has anyone done this? It would be great to see how it looks.

Really enjoying the E26, but the fenders are noisy

I’ve been riding the E26 lately and I have to say, I really enjoy cruising around with it.

The big wheels make it feel very stable and comfortable, and the brakes give me a lot of confidence. It’s also a really good-looking bike, the yellow and black color combo is hard to miss and definitely gets a lot of attention.

The fenders they look great and they feel very strong, but because of the material they are also quite noisy when riding, especially on rougher roads or small bumps.

They seem resistant, so I don’t think they’re bad quality, just a bit too loud for my taste.

Has anyone changed the E26 fenders for quieter ones? Did it make a noticeable difference?

Found a hidden trail by the river with the M20

Went out with the M20 today and decided to take a mountain path I had never tried before.

At first it looked like a normal dirt road, but little by little it started fading away until it became a narrow trail full of reeds, right next to the river.

The whole ride felt amazing, the sound of the water running, birds flying around me, and that feeling of discovering a place you didn’t even know was there.

The best surprise came at the end: a small stone crossing that let me get across the river without getting more than my ankles wet.

The water was freezing cold from the mountain, but with this heat it actually felt perfect.

I’m definitely doing this route again tomorrow.

40°C, dirt trails and an ice-cold rive

Had an awesome ride today with the M20.

I crossed a mountain to reach the next village, with plenty of climbs and descents along the way. After around 10 km of dirt trails, I finally got a nice break on smooth downhill asphalt heading towards the river.

The thermometer was showing **40°C**, so the ice-cold river water felt more than deserved.

Honestly, this is the kind of ride that makes summer worth it: heat, dust, trails, views… and ending it with a proper swim.

Tomorrow I might have to do it again.

40 km, an ice cream, and now the river is calling my name

Took the M20 out today and crossed the mountain on a 40 km round trip, with plenty of climbs and descents along the way.

The weather was amazing, maybe a little too amazing... it was hot!

Luckily I stopped in a nearby village and treated myself to an ice cream before heading back. Best decision of the day.

By the time I got home, all I could think about was doing it again tomorrow. Next time I'm bringing my swimsuit because the river I passed looked way too tempting.

Summer rides are definitely here!
