I am 37, soon to be 38 but people guess my age wrong.
I am 37, male. But most assume that I look around 25-26 years old. I have an extremely oily skin. The skin-care routine that has helped me to age gracefully is given below:
Day:
Cetaphil/Derma Co cleanser
Minimalist vitamin C serum
Minimalist Niacinamide serum
Minimalist Alpha Arbutin serum (for my melasma)
SPF 50 Sunscreen for oily skin by Rohto Mentholatum)
Night:
Cleanser as above
Retiderm Tretinoin 0.05 gel, pea-size mixed with any moisturizer. (I don't have acne, but this helps with wrinkles, fine line, skin sagging, skin turnover and boosts collagen production) - This is the game-changing product in my routine.
Edit: I forgot to mention. I also go to the gym. I have been going to the gym on and off for more than 10 years. I also don't drink, smoke and eat junk food.
Edit2: I am currently using foaming face wash by an Indian brand called Banjara's, which is quite affordable. I bought it for 350 in Bhatbhateni and found it to be pretty good for my skin type. You don't need to buy expensive sunscreen, serums, cleansers and whatnot as long as the products are from a reputed brand. Don't use Dr. Rasheel products. Their products are cheap but not effective.
