I really enjoyed this spider variation sampler! I have however gaines an unfortunate habit of calling the compound spiders "cultists" for horrible joke reasons and resultingly forgetting their actual name.
I got my hands on Jan tregidgo's guide to torchon lacemaking which has amazing picture guides and step by step instructions. I had learned the cloth stitch already but the incorporation of variations was super good to learn
Today I learned how to make my own bobbins! A friend showed me the magics of a lathe
These are my first tries at linen stitch! One was done with the pattern to pin on, the other was just practice to try to nail down muscle memory
