Playacar Shutdown

This is what is circulating on Facebook.

I am pretty anxious about this all because we were there from 5/5-5/8 and I’ve been sick (GI illness) beginning on 5/11. We stayed at Moon from 5/8-5/10 and then Sun from 5/10-5/15.

Can we switch resorts?

Wondering if anyone has done this before. We are currently on our honeymoon and at Nizuc. The atmosphere is not great, no one alerted us that there would be a gymnastics competition this whole weekend. The service has been bad overall. We have 7 nights left and I want to truly enjoy my vacation.

TY all who commented on my last post. My husband and I made it to our honeymoon destination! I was anxious at the takeoff and landing and I did experience a huge headache descending (I have sensitive ears), but it didn’t detract from the experience. We hit a rocky patch while in the air but tbh I was in the bathroom at that time and it didn’t affect me much. Also the airport takeoff and landing time was SO short!

Hi all,

My honeymoon begins tomorrow and we are taking a ~4hour flight to our destination in Mexico. I’m currently extremely anxious and panicky about the flight overall. The being in the air, the airport in general (international flight), possibility of things going wrong. I have flown many times before but last being in May 2023. I am so scared that things will go wrong tomorrow— support requested for managing panic/anxiety.
