The Stonewall Pact
Good evening CivMC,
Overview
Over the past couple weeks, the nations of Apollos, Fempire, and Micronook have entertained discussions geared towards the normalization and expansion of our mutual relationships. The result of these discussions was our sharing the opinion that a formal treaty would be in our collective best interest, and help to better our multilateral ties looking towards the future.
The Stonewall Pact
As such, I am happy to announce the signing of the Stonewall Pact [SP] between our three nations! The treaty document was ratified yesterday, June 28th, 2026, which marks the 57th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising. The name was chosen to honor that important history.
Our Scope & Mission
The nations of the SP are united in a few simple goals:
- Maintaining and advocating for a safe, welcoming, and dignified space for civ's queer community, as we are some of the server's most prominent majority-queer groups.
- Furthering the mutual relationships between our own communities in the spirit of greater friendship and cooperation going forward.
- Creating a safer and more stable future by combating the threat of raiders and griefers who aim to cause us harm.
Opening of the Flag
Beyond the matter of the pact itself, I am also happy to announce that Apollos has completed a 384x639 block trans pride flag in our southern ocean! This project was completed with much help from both Micronook and Fempire, as well as players from Westhelm, Yoahtl, and elsewhere who offered us a hand. Our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make it happen :) Particular shoutout to tubbzie, TheCrazyGrape, arthirob, and donnelpyke2 for really leading the charge on this.
The flag is a permanent installation, and as such anyone is welcome to come get their own (3x5) mapart of it if you'd like. Otherwise, we do plan to make it available at all Fart Mart**™** locations.
