Re-watching and Realizing who's the most selfish

Thank you Pluto TV for seasons 4-6 because Netlfix left me with a void.

So upon rewatch, I'm currently about to start season 6 and I CANNOT stand Derwin. When it comes to the way he treats the women in his lives (primarily Janae and Melanie) he should really just stay single.

*spoiler in advance*

Derwin's immature behavior disgusted me twice:

  1. When Janae asked for his blessing regarding the move to NY and his response was so rash, immature, and rude. Instead of saying, I need time to think about it or better yet, suggest to talk about this another time, he explodes on her! If it wasnt for Melanie, they probably would have gone through the courts!

  2. Melanie has a truth moment and let's him know she's unhappy and she wants to continue being a doctor. She wants fulfillment. How many times throughout this series has Melanie had to put her life/career on the back burner for this man? Instead of appreciating her, he has the audacity to shame her for wanting to be happy. She literally delayed her flight so she could be with him to not only watch the game but be there to celebrate after. She tells him she's going to fly back to MD in a few hours and instead of appreciating what she did, he literally says she did nothing for him.

As one of the main characters, I have never been so irritated by a character.

How to expand as a community bar

My husband and I are owners of a wine and beer bar which has been a local community wine and beer bar since the early 2000s. We love the community vibe and energy brings but the draw back, realizing a year in, is that our location in the outdoor mall is not located visually where someone driving by could see it. Due to our lease agreement we cannot put signs near the entrance of the mall or other spots in the parking lot. Another thing is that its the same patrons that come in and there's nothing wrong with that but for us to grow and expand we need more patrons maybe from the community or outside of the community that are about 5 miles or more away.

We have live music from local musicians on weekends (but depending on the musician it draws people in or no one comes), we have trivia night weekly, and we have open mic. I've tried to do monthly wine classes (which I've paid for advertising on Facebook and Instagram), and have done karaoke. My husband and I continue to brainstorm for this place to be as successful.

Oh i forgot to add we sell snacks but do not sell food (there is no room for a kitchen if we decided to want to sell hot food). One of my staff members suggested a tiktok might help.

I'd love suggestions if anyone has ideas that could help.

Greatly appreciate it in advance.
