How do you handle reevaluations that are due in the first month of school?

I inherited this caseload and the assessment plans haven’t been signed, I know I’m going to be expected to meet these deadlines. I don’t know how I will do therapy and do these evaluations by the time they are due. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone have any advice?

Is it reasonable to not want an SLPA who’s not on your license to see your students?

Or am I tripping for being uncomfortable

Scheduling in the schools

How long does it typically take everyone to build their schedules? And does anyone else feel rushed to hurry up and have it done as soon as possible. It’s day two for me and I’ve been asked more than twice if I have my tentative schedule ready. Am I slow or is this unreasonable to assume it is completed? lol my caseload is 70 students with only 19 gen ed. Give me time people… mostly just venting

I was wondering if anyone has booked a hotel for their trip but then at the same time stayed one night at a different hotel?

Will the original hotel have a problem with this.

Aggressive student

Hello I have an issue that happened last week. A student ran up behind me and grabbed my hair. I had a previous neck injury and I feel like he made it worse. It’s been hurting for over a week now and I can’t turn my head. This student is known for being aggressive. What should I do? I didn’t tell my company about it because in the past things have been brushed off as it being a part of working in special education. Now I just feel hurt and nervous. I’m mostly just venting.

Is it okay to write verb tense goals for English language learners?

Or is this something to avoid. In this instance it is Spanish as a first language

What’s the sickest you’ve been without calling out? I wish at times I had a different job where people allow you to be human
