Why are people SO HOSTILE on this app

Like excuse me for having an opinion. People will genuinely attack you for ANYTHING on this app no matter what it is.

Sooooo, TikTok is making people pay to get interactions with their posts now?

Mind you im not on tiktok a lot at all and rarely post there so most people probably already know this but this seems to kind of defeat the whole purpose does it not?

App is no longer respecting filtered words or topics.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Over the last month many of the topics I have explicitly and thoroughly filtered with the settings are showing up on my feed. Some examples: NFL and makeup. These are hashtags I have filtered and have never shown up on my feed before until the last month, now my feed is being littered with this content, nearly 1 in 3 videos.
