Fresh graduate looking for a job Water Resources Engineering / Civil Engineering
Hi everyone,
I recently graduated from CUET with a BSc in Water Resources Engineering (WRE), and I’m currently looking for an entry-level job opportunity.
For those who may not be familiar with WRE, my degree is considered equivalent to Civil Engineering, with a specialization/background in water resources, hydrology, hydraulics, and related areas. So I’m also interested in suitable Civil Engineering positions, not only water-related jobs.
My main areas of interest are water resources, hydrology, hydraulics, environmental engineering, climate change, GIS/remote sensing, and research. I’m also open to opportunities in consulting firms, NGOs, development organizations, and other relevant sectors.
During my undergraduate studies, I worked with ArcGIS, Google Earth Engine, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, AutoCAD, Python, and ERDAS Imagine. I also completed an industrial attachment at Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB), where I gained practical exposure to hydrology, planning and design, riverbank protection, FFWC operations, and fieldwork.
I’ve also worked on research projects involving ENSO and climate variability, rice water requirements, river morphology, and GIS/remote sensing.
As a fresh graduate, I’m mainly looking for an opportunity where I can learn, contribute, and grow professionally.
If anyone knows about open positions, graduate opportunities, research roles, or entry-level Civil/Water Resources/Environmental Engineering jobs, I’d really appreciate it if you could share them with me.
Thanks in advance!
