A friend asked me to watch the trailer today and boy does it look good - until I looked up who wrote the book. Immediate disappointment. Was looking forward to seeing the movie but have changed my mind.
Hallooooo first timer to the gorge next weekend, super stoked for this experience! Does anyone have any idea of a schedule/activities/etc - yoga during the day? Sound baths? Shopping? Surprised it’s less than a week out for Thursday arrivals and there is zero communication from Rufus’ team about what to expect.
Not looking for packing advice - more so interested to understand what goes on during the day before the shows. I also realize no schedule has been released.

Before you criticize this post, I know the dangers of starting late and needing extra gear. I’m an experienced backpacker and avid hunter, navigating Colorado terrain. I have a Garmin Inreach and will have extra layers and water with me. I also understand the shuttle schedule and the risk of a full parking lot.
I have limited time in St George to visit Zion (work trip) and will be arriving to the park around 2 PM this week. What is a realistic hike I can squeeze in and still have awesome views? I’ve downloaded Watchman and Pa’Rus maps but curious if I could get to stop 6, hike as much of the west rim as daylight would allow and get some awesome views? If there are other recommendations please let me know and much appreciated.
