Inde Navarrette not in Heat 2

Page Six Hollywood says Inde is not in Heat 2 due to her commitment to X-men. Adam Driver is supposedly in Heat 2 and was just cast as Mr Sinister. Thinking out loud, Is he not going to do Heat 2 now bc of X-men? Maybe I’m misinterpreting what PSH wrote? Is this a case of Inde “passing” bc she wasn’t going to get the role?

Initial Review of Opus Book

For context, I ordered on Jan 1 and arrived on Aug 1. I have not gone through page by page yet. I do flip throughs or look at a specific city. Obviously there are some truly great photos of them throughout, on stage and backstage. There are sound check photos; no rehearsal photos and Way too many shots of fans (both disappointing). Overall I don’t regret ordering it.

DLBIA listed on Fandango

I was looking for tickets on Fandango for a few films and checked to see if the doc was even showing up yet, and there it was. I signed up to be alerted when tix go on sale. Im gonna guess we’ll get a legit trailer at some point that will say “tix now on sale.” D23 is in mid August so maybe then?

Live 27 and United States?

I’ve read the articles about 12 shows in Manchester in June, 6 shows at Knebworth in September and Italy in July. Are there any rumors of them returning to the United States? And if so, do we assume it will be the same 3 cities as before?

Oasis teaser for “Don’t Look Back in Anger”

Link: https://youtu.be/drszHQJtR7o?si=2ya8lRqGFw5gMXDu

Oasis released the teaser today for their documentary film “Don’t look back in anger”. For us Oasis fans this is going to be absolute cinema. I seriously cannot wait for this, especially in IMAX. I hope Sean and Amanda mention/discuss it on an upcoming ep since we know they’re fans of the band as well.

Random thoughts on the teaser for the teaser

https://x.com/oasis/status/2073002488278446252?s=46

A couple random thoughts on the 10 second teaser:
The single drum beat is an interesting choice. I’m guessing that’s the opening of the rehearsal space.

Is that closeup shot of Noel new? Obvi from Cardiff night one. I feel like we’ve seen the Liam in the shadows one before.

Seriously can’t wait for tomorrow!

My Opus Update

Seeing people post that their Opus book arrived or was going to ship, I decided to reach out to Opus earlier this week. I ordered the book in January and am in the US. For anyone curious, above is the response I got.

If you got the book already, please tell me that it’s not mostly fan pics.

No mention of Noel & Sara’s mention in the doc

Link: https://www.dailymail.com/tvshowbiz/article-15893729/ALISON-BOSHOFF-ex-Noel-Liam-Gallagher-feud-new-film.html

Since I’m obsessed with the upcoming doc, I’m passing along this June 11 article from The Daily Mail. I am not familiar with the ins and outs of Noel & Sara’s marriage but I didn’t think spouses would be mentioned anyway in the brothers’ story of reconciliation. Do others agree this is a non-issue for the doc?

P.J. Harrison’s Gallagher has a new chapter

I see P.J. Harrison’s book Gallagher (the paperback edition) has a new chapter about the tour. Has anyone read it yet? Anything of note? I know some fans did not care for the book and others thought it was a good read.

Tour book photos?

Sorry if this has been asked already. Has anyone posted pics from the tour book? All the overpriced eBay listings just show the front cover and sometimes the back cover. Sounds like I need to get to the merch booth asap when I see Rush in Nov.

Thoughts on the initial Friedland-CR Pod?

I’m about 15 mins in and it is a tough hang. CR should have been designated as the lead host and fire off topics and questions to Adam. Adam seems to just ramble and mumble while CR does his best to corral him. Am I the only one who hears this? I will keep listening for CR and excitement for the World Cup.

As It Was Rewatch - Beady Eye Question

Like several, I did an As It Was rewatch this weekend for the release anniversary. The first 30 mins or so is really good as it goes over the past and his time in Beady Eye. I truly think Four Letter Word is a really good song and the YouTube clips of it played live are fantastic. However, the rest of their music is meh or not good. Why didn’t anyone advise Liam to make more rock songs like four letter? Thank
God he’s back with Noel.

My hype level for the doc is now beyond insane (if this article is true)

Link: https://radaronline.com/p/rock-group-oscar-buzz-america-success-claims/

I don’t know much about radar online but these quotes about the doc and its footage have me beyond hyped. This also assuages some of the concerns I had about the doc being too fan centric. It would be amazing if this actually got some awards recognition. So many quotes in this article that I hope to be true!

ISO 2000 Reading Festival Bootleg cd

I’m trying to locate the “only here for the beer” soundboard bootleg cd from the 2000 Reading Festival. Anyone ever come across it from a reputable site?

Heat 2 update: September 2026 to March 2027 shooting Schedule

Link: https://www.worldofreel.com/blog/2026/5/22/mann

Since I posted earlier in the week about potential cast circling this project, I thought I’d pass along this latest “news.” This keeps my hopes alive that this will actually get made. Some days I have my doubts. As for the cast, I don’t think Mann should do young and old versions of a character with different actors. I’d go Leo as Chris so to honor Val; Driver as Neil, Bale as Vincent. I think Jeremy Allen White would be the perfect Cheritto. I can’t see Butler being Chris since he has so many projects lined up. Anyone have thoughts on who should play the other key roles?

Noel comments on the Doc

A few on X have posted this audio clip from Friday where Noel comments on the doc.
Says they’re still tweaking it so he hasn’t seen it yet. He does say it’s “an emotional journey..it’s lot to do with fans and stuff” and
“I’m just mixing the sound for it now at my studio”
The fans comment is a concern. Makes me think there will be a ton of fan stories between clips of songs when we really just want the brothers talking instead. The sound comment makes me think he’s just mixing the concert portions of the doc but I’m hoping that it’s linked to a live album.
Here’s hoping we get a trailer soon!

Thoughts about quotes in the Doc Press Release

Link to full press release: https://thewaltdisneycompany.com/news/oasis-film-disney/

Now that we FINALLY have a date and more info, a couple thoughts. Like many, I’m ecstatic for this.

— I’m thrilled it will be in IMAX. I hope to see it three times opening weekend. Fingers crossed we at least get a live album to coincide with its steaming debut. I doubt we’ll get a Blu-ray of the doc but Disney did release one for The Beatles’ Get Back.

— I wish the film was 100% about the brothers and the band. I assume we all use Oasis to get through the day. I don’t need to hear those stories or see people crying in the film.

— Same thoughts about the power of music. Hopefully it’s only about 5 mins of the doc and a Noel voiceover saying how generational they are.

In the end, thank god the wait for the doc is almost over!

I’m always slightly amused and annoyed that whenever something about James Bond and Steven Knight is mentioned in an article, the documentary is never mentioned as an upcoming project. He did say on a podcast that he interviewed Liam and Noel, so he’s definitely involved beyond the title of Executive Producer. We need a trailer and a release date (I know, I know, we’re all wishing for that).
