Creating Bootable USB - ISO Not ISO/File Copy Compatible?

Creating Bootable USB - ISO Not ISO/File Copy Compatible?

I'm currently trying to put Kubuntu onto a USB drive, but this pop-up appears every time I select the ISO (kubuntu-26.04-desktop-amd64.iso, just from the 64-bit download button that shows up at the top of the download page). I have tried proceeding with this, but it just made a couple partitions on my USB and turned them read-only. This is using Rufus, but I also tried balenaEtcher, also to no avail.

Are there any versions that are able to be flashed to USB, or is there anything I can do to this file? Any help would be greatly appreciated ^^

Windows Missing After Deleting Linux - Help!

I recently deleted Linux Mint off of my PC after following this tutorial, but I noticed that after turning off my PC yesterday, today when I tried to boot it up it got stuck in a boot loop. After booting into my UEFI settings, i noticed that my only two options are Ubuntu and "UEFI: Generic STORAGE DEVICE 1404".

I don't know what could've happened to my Windows, I was using it just fine after deleting the partitions/EFI settings for Mint yesterday - surely my PC would have crashed if I had deleted it? When I look for profiles in the "Load Profiles" setting, Microsoft still shows up - I just can't figure out how to get to it.

Any help would really, really be appreciated!!
