I see a million “camping essentials” lists online but having trouble finding “nonessentials.”
Like string lights inside the tent. Or a collapsible table for food prep when the top of a cooler works fine. Stuff you don’t really need but makes things easier or more fun (besides packing them up).
I have a Nemo Switchback sleeping pad. I like it. Trying to get whole family into camping. Bought a duo sleeping bag for my wife and I. Need a sleeping pad for it.
What I really want is a Nemo that’s a 72x60ish version of the 72x20 Nemo that I currently have. Maybe more folds or a comprise on size would be needed, fine. I don’t think this exists anyway.
Can I glue two together side by side? Would the gap between two of them really be that bad?
I would buy two or three of them if attaching them side by side isn’t too much trouble. Please help.
My plan is to make a space cowboy Marlin 1895 in .357. The Dark Series is cool but I think it can be wackier. Maybe an SBR in FDE idk. So all I need is a blued receiver (and mag tube? Need to research more on how that works) and everything else will be aftermarket. Don’t need original stock or anything like that. If I bought a complete one that stuff is basically just going in the trash/hoard closet, ie a waste.
I can check my local gun show that comes by occasionally but is there a website that focuses on piecing out parts or anything like that?
