As the title says, my team and I finally released the app we have been working on for years.

It's essentially a completely free, no ads app that has all the needful to take care of your furry friends.

It has a lot of features but the ones we are most proud of are:

- A lost cat map feature to report lost cats and/or sightings.

- A vet&store map where you can check the ones closest to you, save them or even get directions directly linked to Google maps.

- Your own assistant that recognises and helps you with the cats you have added.

- A plant checker to check for toxic plants that may be harmful.

- Many more features.

In essence, I wanted to see recommendations to get our app out there, I know it will solve a lot of issues when it comes to cat care as we are cat owners ourselves and it helps tremendously in the day to day and to better understand our little ones.

I've been building Purrivia (www.purrivia.com) — a free cat health and care app — and I'm now preparing to submit it to the Google Play Store. I've done a fair amount of research into the review process but wanted to ask people who've actually been through it whether anything stands out as a potential rejection flag before I submit.

A bit of context on what the app does:

- 🗺️ Vet Care Map — finds nearby vet clinics and pet stores using location

- 🚨 Lost Cat Map — community reporting for lost and found cats

- 🌿 Plant Checker — AI-powered toxicity lookup for cat safety

- 📊 Daily health tracker with aHealth Score

- 🐾 Community features, mood scanner, vaccination reminders

- Many more additional features.

It's currently live as a web app (PWA) at www.purrivia.com — partly to test it in the real world and make sure it's actually solving problems for cat owners before going through the store submission process. The response so far has been genuinely encouraging.

I've researched the main Play Store policies around AI-generated content, location permissions, user data, and in-app purchases, and I believe the app is compliant — but I know there are always edge cases and gotchas that only come up when you've actually been through a review.

A few specific things I'd love input on:

- Anything AI-feature-related that tends to get flagged

- Location permission handling (we use it for the maps)

- Anything around community/user-generated content moderation

- General submission tips that aren't obvious from the documentation

Any feedback — positive or critical — is genuinely appreciated. Happy to share more detail about any part of the app if it helps.

Soy dueño de dos michis y llevo toda la vida rodeado de gatos. Como muchos de los que tenéis gatos, me pasaba horas buscando información dispersa: ¿este veterinario está cerca? ¿esta planta es peligrosa para mi gato? ¿alguien ha visto a mi gato por el barrio? Nunca había una sola herramienta que lo tuviera todo.

Así que la construí. Se llama Purrivia (www.Purrivia.com) y es completamente gratuita. No necesita App Store ni Play Store — simplemente abre el enlace desde el navegador, añádelo a la pantalla de inicio y funciona como una app nativa.

Las tres funciones que creo que más os van a importar:

🚨 Mapa de Gatos Perdidos

Si tu gato se pierde, publicas su foto, descripción y última ubicación conocida. Cualquier usuario de Purrivia en la zona puede verlo y registrar avistamientos directamente en el mapa en tiempo real. Mucho más efectivo que publicar en un grupo de Facebook y rezar para que el algoritmo lo muestre.

🌿 Detector de Plantas

Escribes el nombre de una planta o subes una foto y al instante sabes si es tóxica para gatos. Incluye nivel de riesgo, síntomas a vigilar y alternativas seguras. Ideal antes de decorar casa o comprar plantas nuevas.

🗺️ Mapa de Veterinarios

Localiza clínicas veterinarias y tiendas de animales cerca de ti usando tu ubicación. Muy útil cuando estás en un sitio desconocido o necesitas uno con urgencia.

Además hay un registro diario de salud, una puntuación de salud generada, escáner de estado de ánimo, recordatorios de vacunas y una comunidad de amantes de los gatos.
