Anyone here watch the late great Jimmy greaves at spurs and if so how great was he?

Would love to hear from peeps who watched him in the flesh because he seemed like such a brilliant player.

SILURIAN AGE (UK)

There’s a whole bunch of images attached. Would love to know if people who know the Silurian age and the fossils that come with it better than me have a go at trying to id some of them. Thank you all in advance!

Favourite player signing so far?

For me it’s Robertson purely cause I’ve always wanted to see him here. Curious on everyone else’s if they’d like to give their opinion. :)

Season 5 is obviously the worst season, but it’s still great Ibr

Yes it’s not as good as the previous four seasons. But I like to base shows on one thing and one thing only. Did I enjoy it. And the boys throughout has been that for me. Feel like sometimes people love to hate on things cause it’s popular over than actually forming an opinion of their own.

The accuracy of the 1916 Heinrich harder ichthyosaur artwork

Made for a collector card series called "Tiere der Urwelt" which translates to animals of the Prehistoric World in English.

Was wondering how fairly it holds up with the modern day depiction of Icthyosaurids.

Eurypterids post Permian mass extinction

I’m not trying to make a claim per se. The current evidence more than points as of now towards them having gone extinct during the mass extinction. But, I also don’t believe it to be inherently as simple as that. Many lineages although that were devastated from the effect of the mass extinction did still limp on. And for a lineage as proven to be as adaptable as the eurypterids, I don’t necessarily think it’s unheard of to suggest they could have made it into the earliest Triassic. Now again, I do not believe it to be true as of yet. But I would like to hear others opinions on this and if anyone has any other ideas on it or not.

Trilobite fossils - need help identifying families if possible

I know they aren’t the best quality, they were found in north west Scotland in an old disused Cambrian quarry. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Possible fossil found in north west Scotland.

For further details on the location, it was a Cambrian quarry close to Ullapool. I’m unsure if this is a fossil or just some weird mineralogical thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. For context this quarry has yielded quite a few trilobites. But I’m unsure about other fossil types beyond them.
