Does anyone know any books with a strong, complicated older woman often monologuing that doesn't deal with direct trauma? I read The Right Attitude to Rain by Alexander McCall Smith last summer and have been craving something like it. I know the Dalhousie series exists but i want to see if anyone knows any books like this one.
