Car alarm fitting

Hello car people of ireland. I have bought a 2021 Honda fit and am picking her up Saturday. I have gone with a main dealer so all is good immobiliser wise and shes a push to start anyways but I am looking into potentially fitting an alarm just for peace of mind and also hopefully to scare the cunts who are robbing these cars off before they smash my windows in.

My question is 1) is this a good idea/worth it and 2) does anyone have recommendations for somewhere to get this done?

Honda fit?

Hi guys I have a couple of questions regarding buying a new car. This will be the first car I've bought myself. I have had two cars previously but I didnt buy them myself and wasn't there when they were bought.

Firstly I wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with sky motors? I'm looking into getting a Honda Fit and they have quite a few in stock at the moment that I would be interested in.

Secondly I wanted to check if a Honda Fit would be a target for theft/break ins? Ill be making sure it has an immobiliser installed and an alarm but I know for example the Toyota aqua is a target for break ins and id rather not be replacing my windows etc even if the car is not stolen.

Savings account recommendation

Hi guys,

I am looking into what would be the best savings account for myself or if I should potentially open two savings accounts. I have 10k I want to put into savings as a lump sum. Dont want to invest as I will definitely need it within the next few years. I also want to set up a direct debit for savings as well. I was looking at BOI super saver however they do not allow a lump sum. I could set a direct debit up to put 2k into this account for the next 5 months which would work for getting the 10k into the account. My main question is after this is done can I lower the dd amount to what I would like to put in monthly or would I be better off putting the lump sum money into a different account and using the supersaver for regular savings?

Car recommendation?

I am looking for a new (to me) car. Want something reliable, nothing too big to drive cause im a bit of a shit parker. Probably petrol because I drive about 10000km/year at the moment. I currently share a Nissan leaf teckna with my fiance but I hate driving electric. We live with his parents so cant home charge. Its a pain in the arse and I cant even get to my parents and back on a single charge (they like about 1hr from me). Price range would be up to about 8k.
