Finally getting to cleaning some chunky finds on the North Saskatchewan River west of Edmonton. Nice fern fossil which I like. All found in relatively the same stretch of river hence the black look to a lot of them.

Nice selection of North Saskatchewan River petrified wood. These were all found with the caramel collection posted previously.

The caramel collection from the North Saskatchewan River central Alberta. Really love the look of these ones all found in a short stretch of river. Part 2 of this days finds coming.

Amazing how the different areas of the river all have a theme of sorts. Lots of variety this day. Second half coming up.

North Saskatchewan River petrified wood haul. This is an old batch found a couple weekends ago. Water is down significantly so more gravel to check out.

All of these were found in the same area and follow a theme of sorts but somewhat similar blue black and white pieces with veins of minerals.

Finally an opportunity to get out for a look. Wettest June in Albertas history did stir things up nicely on this familiar beach I hit. Nice mixed batch of North Saskatchewan River petrified wood and one cool purple rock.
