PRC Renewal (NO shipping details)

Hello. Baka lang may same scenario sa inyo.

I renewed my PRC license on July 1 and chose the delivery option. However, after I paid for the license renewal, I wasn’t redirected to the page where I could pay for the delivery fee.

Meron bang naka-experience nito?

I also tried searching for a similar situation, but I couldn’t find anything that could help me. I haven’t received any email from either the PRC or the shipping courier.

So I don't know which to contact. Last time I renewed (2023), smooth transaction naman. After kong bayaran 'yung license, meron na agad option to pay for the shipping. (Nakalkal ko lang sa email na talagang magkasabay 'yung bayad.)

'Di ko tuloy alam kung paano makukuha 'to ngayon.

Sana may idea kayo. Maraming salamat in advance!

Anyone here who read The Road by Cormac McCarthy?

I am currently reading The Road by Cormac McCarthy, and I didn’t realize it was a post-apocalyptic novel when I started.

I’m finding it somewhat challenging to read because of McCarthy’s distinctive writing style, particularly his minimal use of punctuation in dialogue, which can make it difficult to identify who is speaking or where one thought ends and another begins.

Still, I want to finish the book.

Anyone here who has the same thoughts?

My heart aches for Stoner!

Stoner is not a hero in the usual sense. He is a deeply human being who tries and constantly fails to live a meaningful life. He does not make history. He never wins, but he endures. He chooses literature over agriculture and makes a life out of it. For him, that is enough.

He finds beauty in the most mundane things in life. Even with a failed marriage, a love found at the wrong time, and being caught up in university politics. He finds refuge in literature and in his books, even until his last breath.

Books are his sacred joys.

I love him for his love of teaching and literature, and for how grateful he is to his students for letting him teach for forty years!

Finishing Stoner makes you stare blankly for a few moments, thinking about what you've just read.

And it leaves you with this thought:

If a life ends in quiet failure, was it still worth living?

Hayy, this is such a good read that I can't stop thinking about it.

Planning to read Augustus and Butcher's Crossing when I find a copy.

Anyone here who read Stoner? Happy to hear your thoughts and best lines!
