I ask because I always see wildly different readings from those compared to my routers. Like the meter will read something like -3 and when I connect it to my router is like +2

My poor boy… stared in pheno 4 days ago and he’s been stumbling around like he’s 11 beers deep. Vet said 1 to 2 weeks is normal for this. What have you all experienced?
My 5 year old Aussie shepherd started his seizures about 3 months ago. Neurologist stated him on Keppra 500mg 3x a day. He went a month without issue then had another so she upped him to 1000mg. Two weeks pass and he has another and she upped him to 1500mg. That was last week and he’s had two seizures in two days.
Now she’s like “ok this isn’t working” and has told us about Zonisamide, Phenobarbital and Potassium Bromide. All of them have their own issues and side effects obviously.
I don’t know what’s best for him. He’s a 60lb very active boy and it sucks that this is happening to him after 5 years of being totally fine. We will obviously go with the Drs recommendations but just wanted to see what others think, especially anyone else with an Aussie.

New to this… my dog had two seizures a month apart. He’s on keppra now. Each previous seizure happened at exactly the same time, which was right as he was about to eat.
Anyway yesterday I put down his food bowl and he’s just staring at me. I say to my wife “he’s about to have a seizure” because this is exactly what happens. He just stares and starts to drool then he backs away looking terrified and the seizure starts.
Except yesterday he snapped out of it before the seizure actually started. He just kinda froze for like 20 seconds looking terrified then walked around a little wobbly but then was totally fine, no seizure.
Wondering if this is the medication doing its thing? I could have sworn he was definitely about to have a seizure but thankfully nothing happened.

However when googling keppra most sites say timing is very strict at every 8 hours. What is the correct answer?
