Anyone know what’s going on and when they are reopening?

I have a quote from an orthodontist to fix a slight overlap in my two bottom front teeth and also to fix my bite. Apparently with the bite misalignment it will slowly wear away at the top of my bottom teeth.

It’s a full on 12-18 month investment in time. It’s not cheap either but it’s the amount of time having to wear these things are making me wonder, is this worth it in the long run?
