When Inferno first came out, I absolutely despised "Father And Son" and thought it was possibly the worst BOC song ever made. I thought it was gimmicky, broke the flow of the album, and that it would age like milk on repeated listens.

The opposite happened. The more I listened, the more the intricacies of the track, and just the vibe of the track as a whole shined through.

I would say at this point that it will go down as one of BOC's most iconic tracks. Its already being memed so much in a loving way, even more than "Orange" and "Ya Thats Right".

Now that Inferno's honeymoon phase is coming to a close and its cementing itself in BOC history, I think its my 3rd favorite after Geogaddi and Tomorrow's Harvest. I love MHTRTC, but though it has some of the most iconic BOC tracks, a couple of its tracks take me out of it a little, whereas Inferno is start to finish.

I m sure a discussion like this has already happened, but damn what an interesting track.
