Tower vs Bookshelf plus sub

I'm trying to decide between buying a pair of Arendal 1610 towers or buying 1610 bookshelves and adding a svs sb5000 sub or adding 2 svs sb3000s

The system will be mostly be used for consuming stuff on the tv. Shows and movies. Maybe 30% for music.

What would you guys recommend? TIA
