Can't Figure Out Cause of Death? Widowed?

My husband and I are somewhere in the early to mid game. He has died twice while just cooking and organizing things in our base. Our base is in the very starting zone. He has never seen anything that could be damaging him.

He'll be minding his own business cooking or whatnot. Suddenly his character starts gasping and moaning like he's sick or injured. He then quickly dies with a bleeding wound appearing. I'm not able to revive him and he has to respawn in the bed nearby.

Neither of us has been able to see any kind of danger. He's not carrying anything radioactive. I've rushed over to him seconds later and there's no enemy or anything near him - we're in our secure base.

Once he noticed a message that popped up "You have been widowed" but I haven't seen anything like that Leyak creature.

Is there a sneaky thing that's killing him that we just aren't seeing? It's kind of sucking the fun out. Is it that Leyak that just kills him and instantly vanishes? How do we stop this or protect him?

Thanks!!

EDIT: The more I read the more it sounds like this Leyak that we just haven't spotted yet. How do we block, kill or disable this completely, it sucks? Thanks.

Joint Pain / Uncomfortable At Night

I'm in my mid 40s and definitely starting to experience perimenopause symptoms.

For the last few years it's gotten harder & harder to get comfortable in bed at night. I'm not sure if it's exactly joint pain but a feeling that whatever position I'm laying in develops pressure points that eventually force me to switch position, repeatedly.

I also have an inflammatory autoimmune disease so I'm sure there's some inflammation going on & very early arthritis.

I'm a healthy weight & exercise regularly including yoga about once a week, so I know it's not lack of exercise.

Looking for any suggestions or maybe a confirmation that perimenopause/menopause could cause or exacerbate this issue? I might start adding some anti-inflammatory tea & a hot bath to the nightly routine because this is really starting to affect my sleep quality over time.
