Why do I always get stopped at passport control or for security check purposes?

So it's just something I have noticed since forever. I have travelled a fair bit and was recently on an Erasmus travelling around EU over the last two years on my Indian passport. I somehow always get stopped by security for something related to my baggage, etc. Once they even checked my phone. They thought it's a FAKE phone?!? Like what? The border officers always ask me questions or take a HARD look at my passport.

It's been happening since I was like 10 maybe. Even when travelling with family as a minor I have been stopped. Everyone I know, even from other countries will pass through but I need to stop and explain myself. It has become a gag between my friends but I find it very uncomfortable. I abide by all the rules, am super polite and have never done anything that should raise concerns.

I was wondering if anyone knew why is that? Once someone said to me it's because I'm a single female travelling on a passport and staying in countries for shorter duration (3-4 days) but I doubt that's the case as people are always doing that.

Also does anyone else have a similar experience?

May empties

Hey, found this subreddit a few months ago and have been following/ lurking since. Really love the concept of using products fully before I buy new things.

My empties for this month.

I have already repurchased the loreal no haircut cream, what a holy grail product. I swear by it from 2021 maybe.

The laneige moisturizer was a sample given to me by my friend. It's really light and hydrating, perfect for summers. I would put it before my makeup and it would look super dewy. But not so affordable for me and I believe the ponds blue cream can give the same feeling at a cheaper price point.

The underrated sunscreen. Idk if it's any good but I mix it with my foundation and apply everyday because I like it's consistency and how well it mixes with my foundation. I have one more of it left so I'll finish that but maybe go to another sunscreen in future. If someone has good mineral sunscreen recs, let me know!

The nivea deodrant. Very nice, gets the job done. I would pair it with glycolic acid and now I have no ingrowns and no body odour also.

My handwriting (with pencil)

Saw this quote on Instagram somewhere, thought it's nice handwriting practice and I also wanted to stick it on the wall.

I like to write above the margin, being doing so from the last 12-13 years. Sometimes achieving consistency while writing can be difficult so I try to write things in one sitting. If I get up to do something and come back, I can see a slight change in my handwriting.

Let me know if you have any feedback!

So I have a presentation before my final thesis submission (which is later) in about 20 days. I'm trying to contact my supervisor but she hasn't responded to my emails in days. I have to show that I have completed atleast one of my research objectives to receive a C- (bare minimum) and she doesn't care. She has appointed a phd to help me out who basically said I'm busy with the term ending for the next 14 days, we'll talk after that. Girl. I'll have less than 15 days to figure out my presentation. I don't even have access to any data yet because it's part of a very big million dollar project and I'm just a master's student. Also this topic is super new to me so I'm just educating myself and writing the lit review while not knowing what else to do. It's like I'm throwing stones blindly and hoping something sticks.

I had a very bad panic attack today because of this and found my supervisor's whatsapp from the department in a desperate attempt to contact her.

She basically wrote to me 'Please use formal communication channels for any academic matters. I will be in my office tomorrow from 1–3 pm, so you’re welcome to stop by then. In the meantime, please continue working on your literature review.'

She doesn't understand the intensity of the situation and has been avoiding me/ not guiding me for the last few months. Even the PhD is too relaxed. I don't know what to do here? How do I approach the subject? I have a feeling she is gonna dismiss my concerns and I'll fail my presentation.

Basically how do I stand my ground and finish up enough for the presentation in the next two weeks?
