I am beyond grateful for this anime!
This anime healed my inner teenage self. What Nakamura went through was exactly how it was when I was still in high school. The everyday thrill of seeing your crush. The idea that you might be walking home together one day. The idea that you could go on and explore places with them. The idea that you could share a picture with them. The possibility that they might have feelings for you too.
Episode 12 wrecked me but it also made me realize how strong I've become. I really felt the grief that Nakamura felt at that time. I felt like I needed to pat him in the head and tell him that "it's gonna be okay" and that the pain he's experiencing will just make him stronger in the future. I am glad that by Episode 13, we got to see a significant progress in Nakamura's relationship with Hirose. I'm glad it wasn't rushed just for the sake of them ending up being a couple. It just means there's still room for more stories. After all, the anime is all about Nakamura's journey into love. This is not the end. I believe this is just the beginning.
I want to thank Syundei for telling us Nakamura and Hirose's story.
I genuinely hope that there's more in the future, whenever that might be. I hope that one day, we'll be able to see Nakamura and Hirose to be officially together.
