Yes please don't heal (or spray yourself) against a Wesker when you're playing loud-as-fuck Vittorio.

I sure do love how the second set of Black Banquet quests mandate you to play killer (down poisoned survivors) while every survivor quest can be done in either mode (succeed at skill checks, unhook survivors, play matches.)

Speed is probably the weakest one and it's still ultra-obnoxious with survivors getting two Sprint Bursts in every chase. Pallets is just free Endurance in a can (except it works while healthy and denies various killer powers like Legion) on top of the unbreakable pallet effect when active. Invisibility (said to be the "worst one" by some content creators) is just an automatic chase escape against a large variety of killers (none of the top tiers though, because of course :)) and is a literal free chase escape when the power is active.

You can't gain any pressure in this mode. Chasing a survivor on death hook? Map-wide instaheal. Get a bunch of people injured? Map-wide instaheal? Map-wide instaheal just got used so you think you can gain pressure? How about a second map-wide instaheal?

Oh but certainly survivors are playing chill and casual in this ultra survivor-sided event, right? Certainly they're not all running Sprint Burst + Vigil, or Stakeout + Hyperfocus? Certainly they aren't all bodyblocking up the wazoo and swarming the killer whenever they get a down for blinds and hook sabos? Certainly if survivors all accuse killers of being sweaty in this mode, they are playing chill and casual too?

The grand irony of this mode is that despite being ungodly survivor-sided, it's still not fun in soloqueue. For one the poison bottles are uninteractive as shit and are a literal free chase win if the killer pops it on you. But more notably however is that if you have one idiot who isn't pulling their weight they're just going to get tunneled out by le fun and interactive poison bottles. Every match I've played of this event someone's gotten tunneled out either clearly intentionally, or "unintentionally" as they kept playing like a moron and prioritizing dicking around with the event instead of staying alive. Add in the fact that most killers are tryharding their balls off in this event and it just isn't fun.

So killers have no fun in such an insanely survivor-sided event, and survivors have no fun because it's not fun to play against Blight / Ghoul / Nurse (or in the case of this event: Bubba / Legion / Myers) running 4 gen stall hard tunneling at 5 gens with le fun and interactive Clown Bottle on Steroids just to keep up.

Happy ten fucking years. Hope to god the next set of banquet quests don't mandate me to play this dogshit game mode it's legit like pulling teeth out.

In case you're wondering, the Zarina bot played about as well as the real player.

So many iconic characters with so many iconic outfits relegated to Legendary status where they are permanently locked to one outfit. We have the technology to allow for characters to "swap genders" (The Troupe) so certainly we can allow characters to wear alternate cosmetics despite having a different model, right?

I can completely accept that not every character will be able to wear every cosmetic, obviously. I don't expect to be able to wear Maria's clothes on James Sunderland or Trickster's default vest on MiNA. But like... certainly we have the black overcoat or the leather jacket as alternate cosmetics for Chris Redfield? Certainly we can get some alternate cosmetics for Robin? Certainly we can have a mask toggle for Yellow Rabbit Matthew Lillard?

I'd even accept if these alternate outfits were available as alternate Legendary cosmetics, although I imagine they'd come at a cheaper rate if you own the original Legendary outfit (essentially consider it as "owning the headpiece.") If I could buy another version of Chris Redfield to make him look like he does in RE5 or the end of RE:Village, I would do so within reason. Same can be said for some of Sheva's alternate outfits from RE5.

It's just frustrating that we can't have like, say... a Mr. Whatsit outfit for Henry Creel. At least probably not without purchasing another Legendary outfit for The First, which would no doubt make Netflix very happy.
