I’m currently learning German and I’d really love to meet some German-speaking people who are open to chatting and becoming friends. I’m mainly looking for people around my age, but I’m open to talking to anyone who’s friendly and genuinely interested in cultural exchange.
I’d like to practice my German through normal conversations rather than only studying from textbooks. I’m still learning, so my German isn’t great yet, but I’m trying to improve consistently. 😭💅
Apart from language practice, I’m also really curious about Germany itself student life, university culture, everyday life, Ausbildung vs. university, how things actually work there, etc. Basically, I want to hear about Germany from someone who actually lives there rather than just relying on Instagram or random websites.
I’m also interested in Mechanical Engineering and the broader tech/engineering field, so if you’re studying or working in mechanical engineering, robotics, mechatronics, automotive, manufacturing, or a similar field, that would be an amazing bonus. I’d love to hear about your experience, universities, career opportunities, and what the engineering industry is like in Germany.
