Playing FFVI for the first time and I guess I went too much on the direction of the job system on V where you maximize different jobs for their bonuses. I have been maximizing lots of different Espers for their stats on all my characters, everyone is getting a lot of health but some get strengh and speed and some get mana and magic.

I guess I just got curious if this is the "normal" way to play or if everyone just maximizes something and stick to one to the end (like the one that gives +2 strengh).

I tried playing it a few months back and stopped at the final boss as I couldnt defeat it no matter how many times I tried and there wasnt any older saves for more preparation. Might try again soon but I have no idea for good combinations that can help me down the line. Might do a monk again because I like them and the double sword elemental knight sounds solid, but I have no idea about the other ones... Can you guys give me some tips that can help to the end? Thanks for any comments.

Taming beefalo for the first time, couldnt do it before the end of winter so I made a salt lick and decided ro park him a little to the side of my base until mating season ends so I can finish the job. Just one problem... now there is three of them. Does this also happen after they are tamed and you just "deal" with the extras or after tamed they stop multiplying just like they stop being agressive?
