Is it rare? New community rarity check.

Found an old deck in a drawer, a weird mold at a swap, or a graphic you can’t place?

We just added Is it rare? to Kingpin. Post a deck, let the community vote, and see where it lands on the rarity ladder from Common to Legendary.

It’s not a sales listing. It’s a community stack for figuring out brand, era, graphic, and how hard something really is to find.

Drop one in and help build the archive. 🏆

Stop hunting for grails. Let them find you.

We just launched a new WTB / WTT board on Kingpin Market.

https://www.kingpinmarket.com/en/marketplace/wanted

Post what you're looking to buy or trade for, and Kingpin acts like a concierge shopper. If someone later lists something in the marketplace that matches your WTB or WTT post, we'll alert you so you don't have to keep refreshing.

Good for:

  • Grail decks
  • Rare trucks or wheels
  • Older completes
  • Trade-only items
  • Hard-to-find parts

You can also get there from the marketplace browse page:

https://www.kingpinmarket.com/en/marketplace/listings

Just click Looking to buy or trade? under the Marketplace heading.

Still early, so feedback is welcome. Happy hunting.

I built a ChatGPT-powered fingerboard shopping assistant for Kingpin Market

I’ve been working on a new feature for Kingpin Market that lets you shop for fingerboard gear through ChatGPT.

Instead of digging through listings manually, you can ask things like:

* “Find me a complete under $100.”

* “Show me decks with yellow graphics.”

* “Help me build a black and gold setup.”

* “Notify me when a Goo deck gets listed.”

* “Create a WTB post for a Dynamic complete.”

The goal isn’t to replace the community side of fingerboarding. It’s just another way to discover gear, hunt for rare finds, and spend less time searching.

Small fingerboard brands can now launch free Shops with drop tools built in

Hey everyone, we’re building Kingpin, a marketplace made specifically for fingerboarding, and we just opened up Shops for small brands and makers.

If you make decks, wheels, ramps, obstacles, parts, or small-batch fingerboard gear, you can now create your own shop page on Kingpin instead of only posting one-off listings.

The big thing is that Shops are built around how fingerboard brands actually release products.

You get a dedicated storefront, product pages, and drop features built in, including launch timing, release setup, and traffic protection so buyers know what’s happening before checkout.

We’re keeping this friendly for small brands too: 0% marketplace commission. Payment processing still applies, but we’re not trying to take a cut from every brand trying to get started.

More info here:
https://www.kingpinmarket.com/en/for-shop-owners

It’s still early, but that’s also why we’re sharing it now. We’d love feedback from riders, collectors, and brand owners. What would make this actually useful for your shop or for your favorite small brand?

You can buy fingerboards on ChatGPT now

We’ve been messing around with something pretty fun. Kingpin now works inside ChatGPT.

You can ask it to find decks, wheels, trucks, completes, drops, or even help post a WTB.

We’re also working on some concierge shopping stuff next. Basically, you’ll be able to tell Kingpin what you’re hunting for, and it can let you know when something matching that pops up.

Still early, but it already feels kind of crazy to shop for fingerboard gear this way.

Let me know what you’d want us to add next.

We rebuilt the homepage after your feedback

Quick Kingpin Market update: we got feedback that the landing page was confusing and did not make the marketplace feel clear enough, so we completely rebuilt it.

The new page does a better job explaining what Kingpin is, why it exists, and how riders can buy and sell fingerboard gear safely.

We are also adding stronger trust checks behind the scenes so the marketplace stays useful for real riders and harder for sketchy accounts to abuse.

Appreciate everyone who flagged it. The feedback helped.
