Clothes to get rid of

Hello I recently did a cleaning of my closet and I have a ton of stuff. I am talking 6-7 large trash bags full of women's clothing. All seasons, sizes 12-18 including casual (jeans and shirts) through formal wear. Lots of stuff with tags and the rest has been worn a few times.

I was going to donate everything but someone suggested I should sell some stuff.

I am really trying to avoid online as the process is so much and for the amount of stuff I have I immediately felt overwhelmed. Id be willing to sell to a store or setup a booth or something and sell thr stuff one random Saturday.

Any ideas, suggestions.....

Is noise blind a real thing?

I've been living in my apartment for more than a year, and since yhe first week I arrived my upstairs neighbors have been the bain of my existence.

They sound like a herd of elephants walking around above me. Im talking 6am bam, boom, stomp, dragging furniture. 2pm repeat. 8pm repeat again. This is every week, at least 2-3x.

Ive tried asking them to please be more quiet, they were apologetic but nothing changed.

Then it got 10x worse. Kids and pets entered the chat. It sounded like a Chuck E Cheese was above me. Running, screaming, jumping, crying, it was all happening.

I went to the management company and they asked for a recording or told me to call them when its happening. So I did, and they did nothing. Months of this and finally one day I was so tired I called the police. They came but the people had left.

This took everything to a whole new level. Now the management office had to do something. So they decided I was the problem and tried to send me a threatening letter. The letter said I was bothering them, being a nuisance, and if I continued I could be in violation of my lease about being a good neighbor.

So I kept recording, kept sending emails with time/dates everytime it happened I told them. Still nothing.

Then the police came again, and this time they heard them. They were at peak noise because the police could hear them from my door and they live above me (yup thats how loud it was). This time the police sent a notice to the management office about the incident.

Now the property management office decided to bring their lawyer in. The lawyer sends me a letter threatening me again. So this time I pulled the receipts and detailed every incident since I moved in. Every call or email to the team. Every time I tried to get a resolution. Everytime I asked for help. I also reminded them about the letter they sent previously and how id been asking for the incident report and investigation report they had that led to the letter. That id been asking for this for several months and no one had provided me with anything.

Suddenly crickets.

My neighbors got somewhat better. Still loud but shorter periods and no kids/dogs running around.

I tell this story because I began to wonder if people can be noise blind.

Walking around without knowing how much of a disturbance they cause by doing what they feel are "normal" tasks.
