Life is like Shogi.

Chess is probably the same, but in Shogi, you can't just keep attacking, and you can't just keep defending either. You might think, "Well, just find a balance then," but it’s never that simple. It feels a lot like life, doesn't it?

My favorite Shogi proverb is: "A game of Shogi without a Pawn is a losing game." In other words, never underestimate the power of the weakest piece.
