Make my decision for me...Goosky S1 or S2
I've read every article and post and I've watched every YT video I can find and I still can't decide between the two. I had an MCPx waay back but haven't flown since. I've been putting in time with Heli-X for the past month or so trying to recoup some muscle memory and I'm ready to try the real thing again (slowly). It really comes down to the fact that the S1 plus a kit full of replacement parts adds up to what is basically an impulse purchase. The S2 with spare parts creeps up over 400.00 which gets into the range where I have to think about it more. I already have a Spektrum NX8 and a good lipo charger so I would be looking at the BNF version of each.
I have a huge back yard to fly in so space isn't an issue.
I know crashes will happen so other than the upfront cost comparison, it boils down two which one is more likely to sustain any noticeable damage and how much will each cost to fix. Even though all the parts are silly cheap, it just seem logical that the S2 will need parts more often. More mass means more damage on impact, right?
I've gone through all the pros and cons a million times. You guys get to decide for me.
