What is the most chaotic thing happening in your office right now?

I'll go first.

Our HR department is currently trying to track down who keeps leaving passive-aggressive sticky notes on the communal microwave about splashing soup. It’s been going on for three weeks and the notes are getting increasingly unhinged.

Meanwhile, half the junior staff just discovered this app called MetLL where you can post anonymous local confessions, and people have started using the "office" tag to anonymously flirt with coworkers or complain about the microwave bandit. The tension in our morning standup meetings is palpable because everyone is trying to figure out who wrote the confession about having a crush on the accounting manager.

Please tell me your workplace is just as ridiculous so I feel better about mine.

Got an offer, but my current company has a 3 month notice period while the new company wants me to join in 1 month. What should I do?

I'm currently working at a company with a pretty toxic work env. I recently received an offer from another company that I'm really excited about, but they're expecting me to join within one month. The problem is that my current employer has a 3-month notice period. I'm worried they may not agree to an early release, especially given how they've treated employees in the past.

what should I do, anyone pls help, i m based in India
