I came from a Land Rover and a Dodge Ram. I do handyman work on weekends and drag a lotta stuff with me but otherwise work from home. The Ram had a bed slide kit and topper. I had to constantly switch tools between vehicles and was using 40 gallon totes which sucked.

I replaced two trucks with this Silverado EV. I was able to finally get this Decked kit installed in about 2 hours alone. Would have been quicker with help and it if wasn’t raining. My truck tools are all cheap Ryobi and Milwaukee M12 but I might start swapping some of the Dewalt stuff out now that I know it’s locked down and can’t easily be stolen.

My only complaints - some of the washers are not stainless. The ones for the tie down cargo clips but otherwise the rest looked good. The plastic dividers don’t really hold up if you’re in stop and go traffic they seem to pop out if tools can slide even a few inches. I also wouldn’t hate it if the corner tension tie downs that hold the kit to the bed were a little beefier. You can kinda still get to the PowerBase plugs but some trimming wouldn’t hurt to fully open the outlet covers.

Plus side is I ordered through a local shop and it was delivered 48hrs later. I like the fact i can still stack stuff on top. Shoot me questions if anyone is feeling froggy.

I bought a new Chevy so the old ram gets sold. I don't need two pickups, see notes, see pics, ask questions. Has 148,000 Miles. No Check engine or warning lights. Clean Florida paper title in hand in my name, ready to sign over. This would be a great work truck with cold AC.

The Good:

*Aftermarket Bluetooth stereo, 10" sub and some speakers.

*Cell phone window mount, wireless charge if you want it.

*Doesn't drip anything on the driveway, doesn't burn or leak anything.

*Has a Bedslide 1000lb max capacity pickup tool deck.

*Camper Topper Cover - with good keys, glass, sliding windows etc. 

*No bad rust on frame or body especially for the age.

*two keys for the doors/ignition and replaced key cylinder.

*COLD AC, Hot Heat - Installed bypass valve for heater core in summer temps.

*Has a 6" lift and good tires - about a 33" highway tread only a few years old.

The Bad:

X-Cracks in the dash, super common for the 1990s pickups. $50 for a cloth cover.

X-Paint clearcoat is peeling on hood and roof of truck. The topper's paint is almost perfect

X-Headliner is gone, just the cloth needs to be re-glued/installed on the core which is fine.

I traded in my last Rover for a while (different conversation) and realized my Ancel tablet and my JLR SDD on my laptop is probably all I need for helping friends. Won't be needing a GAP IID handheld Bluetooth dongle anymore.

Was registered to the VIN on my LR4 - you pay GAP $75 to transfer if I recall and I will take that into account.

I would probably let this go to another Rover owner for $300 plus shipping. That makes it $375 registered with GAP and paired to your VIN. Keep in mind this would let you buy a $15 Amazon cheap 2nd Key and program it to your LR3 or LR4 or RR/RRS up to 2016 or so (check your models on the GAP website). If you don't know about a GAP IID, educate yourself and holla!

You also can tweak every parameter on your rover and it puts icarsoft to shame.

Basically zero rust, garage kept. See pics, ask questions. Runs great. AC 3 phase motor super quiet. Regen braking recharges as you slow down, proper OEM dash battery gauge. Factory Samsung lithium battery with low charge cycles (not a Chinese plastic TEMU Battery), these usually last 3000+ charges and she’s unlocked to 28-29mph depending how many people are on the cart. Excellent range, longer than a set of lead acids would give you.

Automatic OEM fast charger with 'charge level LEDs' included, brand new 23” all terrain tires and 12” matching wheels. 4 seats with seatbelts for front and rear. Rear view mirror as well, just installed. Should be considered "neigborhood road legal" for most suburbs and courses.
