How to get into the queer community in Freiburg
I’ve been in Freiburg for about 2 years now, but sadly haven‘t really had the time and chance to get involved much in the queer community. I myself am 26, not a student anymore but working already, so it’s quite tough to find a friend group around here. As a true lesbian stereotype, I‘ve mostly had long-distance kind of dates and situationships so that did not help with getting to know more queer people in my area either. Also most of my friends are straight or live in different countries, so it‘s quite tough to find a good connection.
I‘ve been trying some sports, but the people there turned out to be straight and not really involved in any queer communities either, not even as allies.
I‘ve been wondering where people go to meet queer people in Freiburg and become part of the queer community. If there are people with similar situations that managed to find a place in Freiburg‘s queer community, I would love to hear your stories and recommendations.
