Swimming lessons

I took my soon to be 4 year old to her first private swim lesson on Friday. It was 30 minutes and she cried the whole time. I had prepared her every day for a week before the lesson too. I mentioned her instructor’s name, showed her his picture and showed her videos of other toddlers at their swim lessons. She was super excited. She loves being in a pool with us too so I know she’s not scared of the pool & water itself. I know it’s normal for them to cry but she told me she doesn’t want to go again. And when I ask her about her lesson, she ignores me.

Any advice on what we should do? Should we continue taking her and hope she eventually starts to enjoy it? Or will this traumatize her. She’s always been one that’s slow to warm up. Thanks!

SPF & sunspot help

I’ve been on Tret for 4-5 months now, 3-4 times/week. I haven’t had direct sun exposure until this weekend which was sunny and 85 degrees. I applied spf 50 beforehand. Woke up the next day with what appears to be a sunspot on the side of my face AND darkening hyperpigmentation on the same side which was fading nicely but was initially caused by acne topicals for cystic acne (salicylic acid, bp).

Did the sunspot and hyperpigmentation appear because of Tret and sun exposure although I wore sunscreen? I’m so sad about it and slightly freaking out. Should I lessen my Tret usage during summer? How can I stop this sunspot and hyperpig from getting worse?

Fave id not good

Switched from my iPhone 13 Pro to 17 pro and noticed the Face ID on the 17 is not as sensitive as the 13 and 90% of the time, it doesn’t unlock. I have to type in my pin all throughout the day. It’s annoying. Called Apple. They did a diagnostic and found no issue with the hardware. Also redid my Face ID twice with no changes. Anyone else?
