AirTag hidden placement suggestions

Where in your Fit have any of you stashed an AirTag? (Or stashed a similar device?)
I use a little case shown in a comment since Reddit had an error when I included it in the post.

I've only zip tied it to a child seat tie down, where the seats fold up. The AirTag though is slightly visible. Yes I'm aware a thief could cut a zip tie, but it makes it harder for them to toss if they don't carry scissors.

Any suggestions on alternate places? (Note: I'd need to access it every year or two to replace the battery.)

We don't need to spend time on privacy discussions in this post.
I'm the only person ever in my Fit, and only use it track down my car, ok?

Hennepin Ave Gravel?

Walked to get a caffeine beverage this afternoon and crews had spread that kitty litter style gravel up and down Hennepin (from W 24th St it extended North and South for as far as I could see).

Did not see anything about it on the city's Public Works Projects page.

Was there some emergency need to resurface this road that was just completely rebuilt and finished last fall?

If I missed something somewhere, please do forgive and share.

Winter Storage (Is it safe to disconnect battery for weeks/months?)

In 2025 I moved to Minneapolis from Texas and I was worried about salt eating out my car's undercarriage.

I am fine with winter driving, but I hadn't known about undercarriage coatings, so I kept my car in the garage.

I live close to transit lines and was able to get groceries etc, all winter.

I ran it for 5-10 minutes a couple times a week (the apartment garage is for about 20 cars and has automatic ventilation).

I wanted to keep Car's juices moving and have the alternator keep the battery up.

Once tho I forgot for too long once and enlisted a building neighbor for a jump start.

For this winter should I?

  1. Disconnect the battery and reconnect it once or so a month and run the car?
  2. Get a battery conditioner to plug in and run the car once or so a month?
  3. Just get an undercoating and deal with it?
  4. Are there other options?

Minnesotan Gifts for Friends?

About to road trip to friends in Austin (Texas), then Seattle, who I'm staying with in those cities.

I've lived in MN a year now and don't get out much.

What Minnesotan / MSP things might be a good gift to bring? (Would love a good excuse for me to get out more!)

Challenge: Ideally want to get something compact, good quality/borderline nice and able to not melt/spoil in a car for a few thousand miles in summer through many warm regions. 😄
