How to use snoot with ring shaped flash bulb?

Hello all, I have a strobe with a donut / ring shaped bulb, and I want to get a snoot for narrow beam, is there any Bowens mount solution for this? I have a 3d printed one for the sake of testing, but of course the lack of light in the centre leads to a dark void in the middle.

Interfit Stellar 300 Optical Slave?

Hey, just a question for the lighting folk. Does the interfit stellar 300 strobe have optical slave? I have a canon 80d, would I need a separate trigger or can I use the flash trigger mode?

White backgrounds

Should i aim for a PURE white background or not? I am a beginner so far just a lamp and paper roll, looking online I have contradictory results. Do i need #FFFFFF backgrounds or light grey is ok? My image for ref.

Finding UK apprenticeship

Hey all,

I'm a current year 10, looking into a future job as an aircraft mechanic, but I'm quite unfamiliar with apprenticeships. Could anyone help me on: When applications happen, What the common requirements are (from what I can gather, GCSE Grade 5s+ and 16+ y/o). I also am quite struggling on what company, as a lot of current listings are quite far to travel. Any word of advice or recommendations?

Of course I realise that the majority of positions are yet to become visible, and that relocation may just be a thing I will have to do.

Many thanks.

Bought tame impala tickets, 2 hours later no email and whilst order shows as active, there's a red error box when clicking 'more info'. Only used StubHub as it was last minute, does this mean everyone was right and I will be scammed?

To all who were concerned about software, worry not. The license has been transferred, giving me analog lab v for seamless playing, and it has integrated with fl studio beautifully as well. The keybed is brilliant, and it's a pleasure to play. To all reading this, I hope you find yourself a good deal on something too :)

Amazon headphones had a proprietary cable. It broke, can't get a replacement. Cut the metal sheath off an existing cable instead of getting a thinner one, good as new 👍
