Spent a day exploring Nubra Valley and it honestly felt unreal. From the cold desert vibes of Hunder Sand Dunes to the peaceful silence around Diskit Monastery, every place looked straight out of a movie. The giant Maitreya Buddha statue beside the monastery overlooking the whole valley was probably the highlight for me.

The mountains, roads, and endless landscapes make you feel tiny in the best way possible. Photos barely capture the scale and calmness of this place.

Also spotted a group of rabbits casually acting like they own Nubra now

Fun fact, Maitreya Buddha 12 ft form is speechless. There are mantras on so many deities
