Looking for Local intel / info on places to ride MTB near Granby and Montrose mid June. Ride mostly out of the SE and have ridden a little out in Moab. I saw Granby Ranch, but wondered if its worth it or what else is nearby? Im not into park style riding since our options are limited in the south and we dont have much of that. What would be helpful for a June time ride? Im used to heat/humidity and know how to adjust to elevation. I normally pack a small container bear spray when I ride Pisgah in the summer. Would I need this in CO as well? I ride mostly XC/AM trail systems in the SE.
