Got scammed of 5k inr in WhatsApp

So i have been searching on a dating website I forgot which one because I go on so many. Now I think the one I went on was an adult one.

So on 18 august i received the response on my "Hi" message and they said hello welcome all that. I responded <city> name that's it and she got offended.

Threatened me of a police FIR and told me I have 12 minutes only. I paid 3k as she told i wasted her time and then another 2k saying some penalty for cancelling FIR. I know I'm stupid. She then deleted all messages. She claimed to be a kinner i don't know how because the profile pic is of a female (seems fake i know).

After 24 hours, then on following days till today I'm receiving calls I blocked them didn't pick up.

She demanded 5k more for penalty then i realized it's all scam.

I don't want to complaint anything because I don't want investigation about my past chats with some online service chats to be discovered. Though I never did anything wrong with anyone. Only this time a simple Hi message and city named turned out as a scam

I want all of this to end quickly. When will I stop receiving calls?

I am an SDE with 2 years of experience building AI systems backend but can't call myself an AI engineer as I never worked with models, RAG, LLM etc. so can't apply for new job as I don't have skills.

Recently our ceo told us that there are cash flow issues in organization and some of us (inc. me) will have to work without salary.

And others are told to continue on same salary without increment.

I resigned because it's an indirect way of laying off.

I have purchased GO classes course but couldn't study a single day due to job and time issues.

Though things are not new for me. I am a 24 graduate and have 2 YOE so far.

Here are the questions:

- what are the chances that I may crack gate 2027 with a good rank starting today. What strategy should I follow? Can I skip a few things ( which? )

- evn if not and aim for 2028, then by August 2028 i will have a 2 year gap on resume. Also I'm afraid of societal pressure and taunts. Though, parents are supportive and they told me not to worry.

- Othr than this, please tell me if you people know the reality of these upskilling programs or pay after placement things like bosscoder newtonschool etc. though I'm heartily interested in MTECH through GATE and not because of this sudden job issue, I have purchased GO classes in Feb this year but timing did not allow me to study.

Please suggest me how to tackle this.
