Hello everyone, I’m inquiring about what’s the pay for an imaging assistant in the Detroit/Ferndale area I currently have an interview with Corwell health and I’m curious what’s the starting pay? I’m currently enrolled in radiology courses at OCC, plus I do have experience with patient care and have my basic life support certification. It is a midnight shift, so I’m curious where that may land me. Thank you !
I’m currently taking courses to become a phlebotomist, afterwards I plan on furthering my education by pursuing radiology or histology . I’m interested in both but I’m slowly leaning towards histology since it’s behind the scenes and not patient-facing . I’m great with people, but I’m very much an introvert.
Located in MI so there’s only so many accredited schools to apply to . I have no degree, but I’m considering pursuing an associates science degree to earn credits towards an accredited histology program.
Any radiologists or histologists/histotechnicians with their personal journey who can provide some insight into?
I’m curious about salary , educational background , work/balance, work environment etc.
What classes should I consider majoring in (histology primary)
