Bare bones setup looking for a cozy glow-up; where do I even start?

Hey guys! Looking for some suggestions to improve my setup and give it more of a cozy, warm vibe.

Here's what I'm working with: an LG ultrawide curved monitor, an RGB mechanical keyboard, a small mouse-only mousepad, and a laptop on the side. The desk is completely bare otherwise — no lighting, no cable management, nothing aesthetic going on.

I already know a larger extended mousepad is the first thing I need — something that covers the keyboard and mouse together. Would love recommendations for a good one that won't break the bank.

Beyond that, I'm honestly lost. I don't want to go overboard — just want to add things that are actually necessary and make a real visual difference without spending on stuff that's just fluff. What would you prioritise in a setup like this to make it feel more "lived-in" and cozier rather than just a plain white desk with gear on it?

Any suggestions are welcome! 🙏
