Anyone know anything about Rendcomb College, Gloucester?
I’ve recently started working at Rendcomb College as a K9/dog handler. As far as I understand, the site has been abandoned since July 2026, and I’ve been assigned to do some night shifts there.
During my regular night patrols, I’ve noticed some strange things that I can’t really explain. A few times, I’ve heard strange sounds coming from some of the doors. On one occasion, I found a door open, and when I closed it, it seemed to move back open again on its own. I initially thought it could just be a draft, a faulty door closer, or something similar.

Later, when I returned to my K9 unit, I noticed that one light appeared to be on somewhere on the third floor, while the rest of the building was completely dark.
I asked some of the college staff about it, and they told me that there shouldn’t be any lights on in the college.

Obviously, there could be a completely normal explanation for all of this, but it definitely felt strange being there alone at night.
Has anyone here studied or worked at Rendcomb College? Does anyone know anything about the building, its history, or whether there are any stories or unusual experiences associated with it?
