Funny isekai backstories for a dnd campaign
Im going to be in a dnd campaign where me and the party members (me and at most 3 others... for now) are isekai'd into a fantasy world by accident. The demon lord has been dead for sometime. So no imminent danger.. thing is, they cant leave for another 30 years to be able to send them back. Theres another way, but essentially we would have to travel about 10 years on foot to go to a scary place with a giant ass dragon (dm confirmed you can seduce the dragon), and the demon lord might me revived. But the demon lord is a giant goth baddie who doesnt want to be a demon lord). Campaign is entirely a sandbox where we coukd either.be contributing to society, or become.the next calamity.
One of my friends said his origin story before he got isekai'd was that his wife is going to sacrifice their family on her wedding day because she wanted to ascend to godhood, and a giant bomb explodes, killing everyone including himself. And he gets isekai'd. Hes set on being a warlock.
He told me either I could either be a teacher in a school shooting or someone who recently started.in a bank and got.killed during a bank robbery.
But I wanna know if theres any interesting ideas you guys would love as ideas for.funny and interesting isekais. My character would be a gal, but I dont think that matters.
I mostly play spellcasters (wizards, clerics, druids, sorcerers, warlocks), so depending on the story ill figure out.
